An own son of the legendary Shining Spark and out of the great reining mare Fancy Jac, Self Shine has been selected by top ten reining trainer, Brent Wright, as the one stallion he desired to own as well as promote. As a beginning performer in 2006, Self Shine earned NRHA winnings of $57,945, NRHA Open Futurity-7^th, NRHA Open Prime Time Reserve Champion, NRHA Open Derby-7^th & Prime Time Derby Reserve Champion, the 2005 Tulsa Classic Open-3^rd and 7 AQHA Open Performance points. In 2007, he placed in the top 10 at the NRHA Open Futurity, qualified for the AQHA World and placed in the Top Ten in Open Jr. Reining. His sire, Shining Spark, is the sire of get earning in excess of $5 million. His dam, the very popular Fancy Jac (by Hollywood Jac), is a NRHA Open Reserve Champion and earner of $77,900.
